Position: Café Operations Specialist
We’re looking for an experienced food industry professional who can deliver exceptional service, maintain high standards, and confidently manage the café—even solo during slower hours. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, takes pride in quality, and wants to grow with a dynamic brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver “Unparalleled Hospitality”—go above and beyond to create an experience that keeps guests coming back.
- Be knowledgeable and proficient in every position within the café.
- Ensure high-quality products in a safe environment that meet Tropical Smoothie Café standards.
- Train and coach crew members during each shift to uphold brand excellence.
- Handle the café independently during slow hours while maintaining service and operational standards.
- Lead by example with a positive, encouraging attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of food service experience.
- Shift/Team leader experience preferred.
- Full and open availability.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 30+ hours per week expected.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.
- Texas Food Handler’s Certificate required.
Compensation & Benefits

- Starts at $11/hr during training (1 month).
- Increases to $12/hr after training.
- Plus $1.00–$1.50/hr in tips (average pay after training: $13.50/hr).
