We are growing & looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Team. The primary purpose of this position is to be at the forefront of building and maintaining the data infrastructure that
supports key decision-making across the organization. Their mission is to make working with data a delightful experience for data scientists, business and engineering partners, and executives across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Use dbt to deliver well-defined, transformed, tested, documented, and code-reviewed data sets
- Promote software engineering best practices through thoughtful code review and mentorship of junior team members
- Work to understand and solve business partners’ data-related challenges, understand their analytical needs, and deliver efficient data solutions.
- Proactively anticipate future business needs, incorporating these into your solutions, even when those needs aren’t immediately apparent.
- Build and manage ELT pipelines with off-the-shelf tools like Fivetran and Stitch
- Troubleshoot data anomalies with engineering teams
- Educate and empower your customers to use data in their decision making
- Craft data requirements for the engineering teams
- Manage and optimize Snowflake data warehousing to ensure data quality, availability, performance, and governance
- Keep up to date on data technologies in our stack and in the broader data ecosystem
What You Need (Job Requirements)
- 5+ years experience writing performant, scalable SQL models on large data sets
- Proficient in dbt, Snowflake (or similar data warehouse), BI visualization
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
- Experience with data storage technologies outside of our regular stack
- Software engineering background - C#, React, PowerShell, Python

- Excellent communication skills - experience communicating technical topics to non-technical people, translating business needs into technical implementations, and liaising between Business, Engineering, and Analytics
- Curiosity: eagerness to learn the business so that you can help use data to drive impactful decisions across teams
- Proven track record of delighting data consumers
Travel: This role involves limited travel for collaboration and professional development.
Location: Our corporate office is in Tukwila, WA. Hybrid work from Seattle Area. Remote may be available from WA, IL, AZ, MD, TX, GA.

Base Salary
$115,000 - $130,000. This range reflects the good-faith hiring base range for this position. However, individual rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
