Senior Sales & Marketing Executive

The Senior Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for managing the full client journey — from initial enquiry and proposal through to on-site execution on event day. This role holds sales ownership for corporate, events, and catering sales, while ensuring that every client engagement and event delivery reflects Birds of Paradise's brand and quality standards. The Senior Executive also supports marketing activities across channels, contributing to customer retention and the achievement of overall revenue goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for our corporate, events, and catering business — from proactive outreach and lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement
  • Be the face of the brand for our clients, serving as their primary point of contact from the very first conversation through to event day, ensuring every interaction is seamless and memorable
  • Be present on the ground at key events, overseeing setup and execution to ensure every detail — from product presentation to guest experience — is delivered to brand and quality standards
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, tracking leads, managing follow-ups, and forecasting revenue to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
  • Stay attuned to market trends, seasonal demand, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and keep our event proposition sharp and relevant
  • Support the Marketing Manager in executing campaigns across digital and offline channels, contributing to brand awareness, customer engagement, and retention
  • Respond to customer queries as part of our customer service team


We are looking for someone with / who is

  • A natural relationship-builder with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a flair for customer engagement and conversion
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with the drive to originate new leads, the discipline to manage a pipeline, and the ability to convert opportunities consistently to closure
  • Understands and embodies the Birds of Paradise brand, understanding what we stand for and taking personal ownership of how we show up at every touchpoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; equally comfortable crafting a proposal and directing an event setup
  • Organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and multiple active events simultaneously
  • A high standard of integrity, professionalism and work ethic


Requirements & Qualifications


  • Min. 5 years of experience in sales, events & marketing (F&B, lifestyle, hospitality, or events), with at least 2 years where you held direct sales accountability
  • Experience with a CRM, digital marketing platform, or e-commerce is a plus
  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Willing to work on weekends or evenings when events require it
