The Senior Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for managing the full client journey — from initial enquiry and proposal through to on-site execution on event day. This role holds sales ownership for corporate, events, and catering sales, while ensuring that every client engagement and event delivery reflects Birds of Paradise's brand and quality standards. The Senior Executive also supports marketing activities across channels, contributing to customer retention and the achievement of overall revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
OWN AND GROW THE CORPORATE, EVENTS, CATERING SALES PIPELINE
- Build and grow a pipeline of corporate, events, and catering opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Monitor market trends, seasonal demand, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and revenue forecasting
- Deliver on sales targets
LEAD THE FULL CLIENT JOURNEY
- Serve as the primary client point of contact from initial enquiry through to event day
- Lead all client engagement: discovery, proposals, pitch decks, quotations, negotiation, and closure
- Translate client needs and objectives into tailored event solutions
- Manage pricing and negotiations to achieve strong revenue outcomes while protecting margin and brand integrity
- Be present at key events to oversee brand’s brand and quality standards
- Coordinate with the Events supervisor to ensure seamless delivery
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and repeat customers
- Gather post-event feedback to refine offerings and strengthen future conversions
SUPPORT MARKETING INITIATIVES
Support the execution and management of the following:
- Marketing platforms (e.g. Meta Business Suite, marketing automation platforms, CRM)
- Marketing activities across digital and offline channels
SUPPORT E-COMMERCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Together with marketing manager,
- Manage and maintain e-commerce shop platform
- Support online store operations and order management
- Manage customer enquiries through e-commerce platform or social media

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Min. 4 years of experience in sales (F&B, lifestyle, hospitality, or events), with at least 2 years with direct sales accountability
- 2-3 years marketing experience
- Experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform is a plus
- Willing to work on weekends or evenings when key events require it
