What You’ll Do

As a Back of House (BOH) Team Member, you will:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Chick-fil-A standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Stock and rotate inventory to ensure freshness.
  • Support teammates to keep operations running smoothly.

A Typical Day as a Back of House Team Member

  • Start Your Shift: Arrive on time, review prep lists, and set up your station for success.
  • Food Preparation: Cook and assemble menu items accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain Standards: Keep your work area clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with Front of House and Back of House teammates to ensure timely service.
  • End-of-Shift Duties: Clean and reset kitchen stations, restock supplies, and prepare for the next day.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
  • Consistent, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules (including early mornings, late evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays).
  • Able to stand for long periods, work under pressure, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications (But, Not Required)

  • Previous Chick-fil-A or professional cooking experience.
