Position Overview
The Sales and Brand Growth Director is responsible for driving restaurant sales, growing brand awareness, and building strong community relationships for Chick-fil-A RedBird. This role blends sales leadership, catering growth, community partnerships, marketing strategy, and brand development to increase transaction count, check average, catering sales, and guest loyalty.
The Sales and Brand Growth Director serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and works closely with Operations, Catering, Training, and Front of House leadership to ensure all sales and marketing initiatives are executed with excellence.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, relationship-focused, self-motivated, and passionate about people, hospitality, and growing the Chick-fil-A RedBird brand both inside and outside the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Plan, develop, and execute monthly marketing calendars, promotions, and restaurant events.
- Lead brand awareness efforts through in-store promotions, social media support, school partnerships, and community involvement.
- Create and manage strategies to increase transaction count and check average.
- Develop campaigns that support seasonal promotions, limited-time offerings, family nights, appreciation events, and other restaurant initiatives.
- Coordinate with leadership and team members to ensure successful execution of all marketing activities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Chick-fil-A’s unique brand assets including food, people, cows, and community influence.
- Ensure all marketing efforts align with Chick-fil-A brand standards and restaurant goals.
Sales & Catering Growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing catering clients.
- Proactively pursue new sales opportunities through networking, community outreach, local businesses, schools, churches, sports teams, and organizations.
- Support and collaborate with the Catering Director to help grow catering sales and ensure excellent customer service.
- Create and execute strategies to increase catering frequency, average order size, and customer retention.
- Monitor catering customer follow-up systems, including thank you notes, emails, calls, and repeat business opportunities.
- Assist with sales forecasting, goal tracking, and reporting for catering and marketing initiatives.
Community Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, nonprofits, churches, businesses, and community organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for school partnerships, spirit nights, fundraisers, donation requests, sponsorships, and community events.
- Develop opportunities for Chick-fil-A RedBird to increase visibility and strengthen its presence in the community.
- Represent the restaurant at community events, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to foster long-term partnerships that positively impact both the community and restaurant sales.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and support team members involved in marketing, catering, and community engagement.
- Provide direction, accountability, and vision for the restaurant’s sales and brand growth efforts.
- Develop systems, processes, and training for marketing and catering execution.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to align goals, priorities, and initiatives.
- Participate in leadership meetings and regularly report on sales results, marketing performance, partnership activity, and catering growth.
- Mentor and develop future leaders within the restaurant.
Guest Experience & Operations Support
- Ensure all brand growth efforts contribute to a remarkable guest experience.
- Support restaurant operations during peak periods when needed.
- Assist with the execution of major events, promotions, catering deliveries, and community activations.
- Help create a culture of hospitality, generosity, and excellence both inside and outside the restaurant.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership, sales, marketing, catering, or business development experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Passion for hospitality, people, sales, and community engagement.
- Ability to think strategically while also executing day-to-day responsibilities.
- Comfortable networking, cold calling, and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Experience with event planning, promotions, catering, or community partnerships preferred.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events and community involvement.
