As a Front-End Cashier Supervisor at Mountain Hardware and Sports, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently processing transactions at the cash register. If you have experience in leading a team, cashiering, great customer service, and enjoy working with people, this position could be a great fit.

Schedule: full-time (40hrs/week)
Duties and Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing detailed product knowledge
- Lead in the process of our point-of-sale system, transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently while ensuring proper handling of cash, credit, and receipts.
- Maintain and oversee a clean, safe, and organized checkout area—restock supplies, uphold merchandising standards, and ensure signage and promotional materials are current and well-placed.
- Train and support team members in completing duties accurately and on time and step in to resolve issues.
- Provide flexibility with scheduling to provide coverage when necessary
- Provide guidance, assign lanes or tasks, and step in to resolve issues.
Skills and Qualifications

- Must be able to work in the United States
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Ability to use provided computer, programs, and technology-based equipment when needed
- Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, confined environment while maintaining focus and efficiency
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
- Ability to stand for an extended amount of time
Experience
- Customer service: 2+ year (preferred)
- Cashiering: 2+ year (preferred)
