Sylvan is looking for fun, dedicated, and inspiring teachers to help our students achieve academic excellence. Sylvan is looking for part-time teachers in Reading, Math, Study Skills, and ACT/SAT! There is no lesson planning, grading or conferencing! You get to do what you love and teach! As a part-time Sylvan Teacher, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1 setting. You will provide personalized instruction in the subjects you are qualified and wish to teach. Evening hours and some Saturday mornings are available. Main Requirements/Responsibilities of a Sylvan Teacher:
