OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Bartender / Barista hybrid who is confident preparing both high-quality espresso drinks and craft cocktails. This role requires strong beverage execution, operational responsibility, and the ability to manage inventory, ordering, and scheduling. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their station and delivers consistent, professional service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coffee & Beverage Preparation
Prepare espresso-based drinks and specialty coffee beverages
- Dial in espresso, texture milk properly, and maintain consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee equipment and station
Bar & Cocktail Service
- Prepare classic and specialty cocktails to established recipes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar setup
- Follow all alcohol service, safety, and compliance standards
Inventory & Ordering
- Track and manage bar and coffee inventory
- Place orders for alcohol, coffee, syrups, dairy, and bar supplies
- Conduct regular inventory counts and minimize waste
Scheduling & Operations
- Assist with creating and managing bar staff schedules
- Ensure proper staffing coverage for all service periods
- Communicate staffing needs and operational issues to management
Leadership & Service
- Lead by example during service
- Support and train bar staff as needed
- Deliver a high level of guest service at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years experience as a bartender
- Minimum 1 year experience as a barista working with espresso
- Experience with inventory management and ordering
- Comfortable assisting with staff scheduling
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in high-volume or premium casual environments
- Craft cocktail or specialty coffee background
- Prior supervisory or lead experience
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast)
