WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating accurately and efficiently
• Use our reservation and seating systems to keep the dining room organized
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions and requests
• Coordinate closely with servers and management to maintain smooth table flow
• Keep guests informed and comfortable during busy periods
• Monitor the dining room and anticipate guest and team needs
• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming host stand
• Handle busy periods calmly while maintaining exceptional service
• Create a first impression guests remember

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Is friendly, outgoing, polished, and professional
• Has strong computer skills and is comfortable learning restaurant software
• Has OpenTable experience — a definite plus!
• Is organized and comfortable managing multiple things at once
• Communicates clearly and confidently with guests and coworkers
• Is detail-oriented and quick to notice what needs attention
• Can stay calm, gracious, and professional when the restaurant gets busy
• Understands the importance of exceptional hospitality
• Is reliable, punctual, and takes their schedule seriously
• Works well with a professional, team-oriented staff
• Has previous restaurant, hosting, or hospitality experience preferred
• Is available for some evenings, weekends, and holidays
