The Social Media and Events Specialist is responsible for managing the company's organic social media presence while supporting the planning and execution of events and promotional initiatives.
Social Media and Events Specialist Responsibilities:
- Develop, publish, and manage social media content across all platforms
- Oversee all social media inquiries, comments and questions across all platforms
- Write, edit and schedule social media captions and related digital copy
- Maintain knowledge of current social media best practices, trends, and emerging platforms
- Directly work with retail teams during daily operations and in-store events to capture photo and video content that align with Martin's brand voice
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing tastings, events and promotional initiatives
- Assist with day-to-day office operations including printing, cutting, laminating, mailing materials and other in-house projects
Social Media and Events Specialist Requirements:
- Education: Associates degree or some college required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: One (1) year of related experience preferred
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of current social media best practices, as well as digital content creation is required (Video & Photography); CapCut; exceptional organizational, communication and time management skills; proactive work style; familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets/Drive required
