We’re a nonprofit healthcare leader with over 100 providers across 15 locations in the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast area. We’re currently seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations and team members across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient data and adjudicate insurance claims
- Prepare, label, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations
- Assist with immunization preparation and administration
- Mentor and train pharmacy staff
- Support scheduling and internal audits
- Float to other pharmacy locations as needed
- Promote safety, compliance, and excellent patient care
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy technician experience (2+ years with CHN Pharmacy preferred)
- Registered and Certified Pharmacy Technician in Texas
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or technical training preferred
- No prior disciplinary actions
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and tech skills
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Leadership mindset and team-oriented
- Bilingual in Spanish? That’s a big plus!
- Experience in compounding, IV admixture, or specialty pharmacy preferred
