What You’ll Do
As a Specialties Patient Service Specialist, you will be the welcoming voice and smiling face guiding patients through their specialty care journey. You will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and community partners
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all MyCHN policies regarding PHI
- Professionally manage high‑volume calls and document interactions accurately
- Assist patients with questions; route advanced concerns to leadership
- Schedule and confirm specialty appointments for multiple locations
- Review and update patient charts, documents, and portal information
- Communicate co‑pay, deductible, and insurance details
- Reconcile payments and maintain an accurate cash drawer
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative healthcare environment
- Travel throughout the Houston area as needed to support specialty clinic operations
What You Bring
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and stay organized
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations
- Basic computer/office equipment skills
- Willingness and ability to travel within the Houston area
Preferred:
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
- Medical or dental front office experience

- Location: MyCHN Clinics across Greater Houston
- Exposure Level: Bloodborne Pathogens – Level 1 (High)
