Position: CPRIT Navigator – Women & Children’s Health
Organization:
MyCHN – A nonprofit healthcare leader with 100+ providers and 15+ locations serving the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast region
What You’ll Do:
- Identify patients overdue for cervical, breast, and colorectal cancer screenings
- Educate patients on prevention, screenings, and follow‑up care
- Schedule clinic visits, screenings, and diagnostic follow‑ups
- Track results and ensure timely care per program goals and standards
- Participate in community outreach and education events
- Document activities for productivity and grant reporting
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of healthcare experience in a clinic setting
- Strong communication and patient‑engagement skills
- Comfortable using EMRs, phone systems, and basic reporting tools
- Knowledge of medical terminology and customer service standards
- Bilingual in Spanish? That’s a big plus!
- CMA or cancer navigation experience preferred
