Position Overview
The Business Assistant will provide direct administrative and operational support to the Owner/Operator, ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks, projects, and special initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with advanced Excel skills, strong technical aptitude, and a genuine passion for serving others both inside and outside the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist the Owner/Operator with scheduling, task management, and daily priorities.
- Organize, track, and maintain important business documents and records.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and other software tools.
- Support operational efficiency projects, process improvements, and data analysis.
Technical & Data Management
- Create, maintain, and optimize Excel spreadsheets for tracking performance, budgets, and metrics.
- Use various digital platforms and tools to support business operations, marketing, and communication.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with office equipment, software, or systems.
- Assist in implementing and training on new technology or software solutions.
Customer & Team Service
- Serve as a professional representative of the Owner/Operator in all interactions.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, partners, and vendors when needed.
- Support in-store leadership by assisting with team communications, recognition programs, and special events.
- Uphold Chick-fil-A’s core values of hospitality, excellence, and care in every interaction.
Qualifications
Required:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
- Strong technical skills with the ability to learn and implement new systems quickly.
- Exceptional organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Positive, servant-hearted attitude with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Previous administrative, business support, or project coordination experience.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, cloud-based file management, and business reporting tools.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurant environments.
