Front of House Shift Lead Responsibilities:
- Leads shifts without any supervision.
- Conducts employee disciplinary actions as needed and communicates severe employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Directors.
- Works with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate daily restaurant staffing levels and provides input on the schedule and placement of Team Members.
- Must be an excellent coach, communicator, and team builder.
- Provides input on Team Member evaluations.
- Delegates and verifies completion of daily and weekly checklists.
- Works towards improving and maintaining our customer service scores.
- Facilitates breaks for all Team Members.
- Understands cash handling procedures.
- Encourages, coaches, and rewards the team while holding them accountable.
- Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks for the front-of-house.
- All other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Shift Leader:
- Previous leadership experience in quick-service or a comparable field
- Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments as part of a team
- Basic computer competency
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.
