Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and engineering principles, with hands-on experience in project coordination and site management. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and Primavera P6 for accurate project forecasting.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and contracts.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and enforce safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution.
- Implement project scheduling techniques using software like ProCore and Primavera for efficient workflow management.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, changes, and challenges.
- Assist in the preparation of reports detailing project progress, resource allocation, and time management metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in construction management or engineering roles with a focus on project coordination.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating practices and contract management principles.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is essential.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail for accurate blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
