Job Summary:

Chick-fil-A Pines and 160th is seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Leader to assist in the efficient and smooth operation of our kitchen and food preparation processes. As a Back of House Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring food quality, safety, and kitchen performance during designated shifts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Kitchen Supervision:

  - Lead the back-of-house team during assigned shifts, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and assembly processes.

  - Ensure that Chick-fil-A's high food quality and safety standards are consistently maintained.

 

2. Team Support and Training:

  - Assist the Back of House Director in training and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure they perform their roles effectively.

  - Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team members during busy shifts.

 

3. Order Management:

  - Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure accurate and efficient order preparation and delivery.

  - Help streamline kitchen operations to meet peak demand without compromising on food quality.

 

4. Food Safety and Cleanliness:

  - Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, emphasizing food safety practices and cleanliness.

  - Conduct regular equipment checks and ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed.

 

5. Inventory and Supply Management:

  - Assist in managing inventory levels and orders for kitchen supplies and ingredients.

  - Monitor food costs and wastage to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.

 

6. Communication:

  - Maintain effective communication with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a cohesive and coordinated work environment.

 

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

- Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
