We are looking for a skilled broiler cook to prepare delicious meals according to our menu.
You must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals.
You must be adept in moving around the kitchen and multi-tasking.
Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele. Benefits include a bi-weekly cash tip out and shift meal for each full shift you work.
Qualities:
- Skilled, organized, and creative cook
- Experience in steak and seafood cutting for maximum yields
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Culinary school or previous culinary experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
● Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen
Preparing workstations for cooking
● Maintaining kitchen equipment
● Checking the quality of the ingredients
● Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentation
● Managing food storage and rotating stock for each station
Job Requirements:
● Must have prior experience in a full-service restaurant
● Must be skilled in operating kitchen equipment, mainly the broiler and flat top
● Must be skilled in various cooking techniques
● Must know and follow sanitation procedures
● Must showcase teamwork and communication skills
● Must demonstrate great organizational skills.
● Must be able to multitask and act quickly
