Restaurant Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Director of Asset and Facilities
What You’ll Do: This role will be integral to the success of our company, responsible for providing a variety of maintenance related services to several restaurant locations. You will need to provide a high level of customer service and have the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects. Essential functions:
- Primary responsibility is to maintain and repair Commercial cooking and prep equipment including but not limited to: Deep fat fryers,Toasters, Product holding units, Duke Broilers
- Complete minor electrical repair such as replacing plugs, appliance cords, and lighting upgrades.
- Complete minor plumbing repair such as replacing leaking faucets, repairing drains, etc.
- Provide interior and exterior maintenance services including, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, ceramic floor and tile repair, and acoustical ceiling repair.
- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with internal customers, outside vendors, suppliers, and companies providing services.
- Order and return parts as necessary.
- Occasional computer and administrative work.
What Will Make You Successful:
- High School Diploma required. Trade school or associate's degree preferred.
- Restaurant maintenance and QSR experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation, clean and valid driver’s license
- On-call flexibility through the weekend and late-nights
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Plumbing repair/troubleshoot: 1 year
- Maintaining Restaurant Equipment: 1 year
- Maintenance Technician: 3 years
- Electrical Repair/troubleshooting: 1 year
- HVAC knowledge (commercial): 1 year
Travel: Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to restaurants and other business locations 100% of the time. This is a field position and not an office position. Drive approximately 30, 000 miles per year.
Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate clearly via phone including hearing and talking. Ability to perform sedentary work such as computer-based work. Ability to utilize close visual acuity such as for creating and analyzing data/spreadsheets, word documents, and reports. Ability to utilize fine motor skills with the fingers, such as typing and tying knots. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
