Team Member (Prep Cook)
Reports to: Restaurant General Manager
The Team Member will work productively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a quick speed of service and optimal guest experience. The Team Member will work closely with colleagues to prepare fresh and hot food, deliver 5-star guest service, clean and maintain the restaurant, and conduct other duties assigned by the Restaurant Management Team. This role manages payments responsibly, adheres to food service standards, and ensures cleanliness of all aspects of the restaurant in compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare food items to recipe, portion, and quality standards, including handling raw ingredients and batch preparation of sauces, sides, and core products
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handwashing, glove use, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitized workstation, equipment, and tools throughout the shift
- Execute opening and closing prep responsibilities to ensure station readiness
- Manage product flow by prepping to projected needs, ensuring no shortages while minimizing waste
- Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage of all products using FIFO practices
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and consistency at all times
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to support continuous operations
- Support overall kitchen operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment
- Work efficiently and follow established processes to deliver consistent results in both low and high-volume periods
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to safely navigate common kitchen hazards (slippery floors, hot surfaces, sharp objects)
