Repair / Maintenance Person

Pioneer Ace Hardware, your local hardware store, is looking for a Repair / Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Small Engine Repair Specialist at Pioneer Ace Hardware, you will be an integral part of our community-focused brand. The Small Engine Repair Specialist will work in our rental and service department.
Duties will include, but not be limited to;
• Service rental equipment as well as customer’s power equipment
• Provide parts quotes to customers with approved pricing from buyer
• Check rentals in/out each day
• Track and update the daily rental overdue list
• Train customers on use of power equipment
• Load and unload rental equipment and/or customer’s power equipment
• Train store employees on the rental process
• Maintain inventory on merchandise, showroom displays, and parts.
• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the W.O.W. process
• Place email orders with buyer
• Check in parts orders; report damages, shortages, overages, and other discrepancies to the Backroom Coordinator and/or Store Manager.
• Adhere to strict rules, guidelines, policies and procedures on safety.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in shop/service area
• Stay up to date with service and sales training for Stihl
• Communicate and follow up with customers on service updates of equipment
Work schedule
- 8 hour shift
