Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes
- Place orders for ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Monitor portion sizes and quality standards
- Assist on the line during peak service times
- Train staff on cooking techniques and food presentation
- Maintain kitchen inventory and equipment
- Help develop promotions to boost sales
- Ensure compliance with food safety practices
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Lead Cook
- Hands-on daily special, soup of the day planning, and ingredient ordering experience
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes
- Strong organizational and conflict management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Food Safety Manager Certification preferred
