Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that dishes and equipment are cleaned in a timely manner.
- Help to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization at our commissary location.
- Support in bakery production activities
- Support with item distribution activities
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a qualified Bakery Clerk to help maintain our health and sanitation program and support our bakery staff.
- Cleaning dishes and operating the dish machine.
- Help maintain outdoor grounds at our location by picking up garbage and ensuring the trash collection area stays organized.
- Assist with emptying trash and recycling.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking items.
- Clean and disinfect areas of operation including floors, carpet, windows, rugs, walls, coolers, freezers and equipment.
- Help maintain cleaning product inventory such as cleaning tools, materials and supplies.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Notify leadership of any potentially unsafe conditions.
- Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers.
- Assist with food prep and production as needed
The shift will be from from 12 p.m. until 6 or 7 p.m. 5-days per week.
Job Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when and how to use them.
- Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs. independently.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Previous food preparation experience strongly preferred.
- Reliable mode of transportation to and from work.
- Team player, looking to help in other areas of the business when primary duties are completed.
