We are looking for an energetic and driven leader with experience both executing and leading a high volume food & beverage retail establishment. This position will have a large impact in bringing our store and business to the next level.


Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure your location is ready for all aspects of operations prior to each shift.
  • Interact with staff and current and prospective customers to gain feedback for improvement.
  • In collaboration with Henri’s leadership and staff, oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure our customers are delighted and remain loyal to Henri’s Bakery and Deli.
  • Work along-side, and give direction to, store associates to ensure our walk-in customers receive a high-level of service and great customer experience.
  • Support store manager in maintaining a clean and ServSafe environment, maintaining and executing a daily side work and cleaning schedule for your location.
  • In collaboration with Henri’s leadership, develop and maintain labor and profitability benchmarks for this location.
  • Support with personnel leadership duties such as scheduling, staffing / hiring and training.
  • Being a “player & coach” jumping in to help staff and customers throughout your shifts
  • Support the GM with management of inventory and purchasing.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge for all areas of the FOH including bakery, deli and catering services.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations to leadership regarding potential investments, marketing, staffing and overall catering and events business to ensure continued growth.
  • Other duties as required based on business needs.

Qualifications/Skills Required 

  • 3+ years of experience in a retail management or lead role, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and / or training associate level staff.
  • Ability to travel to your assigned location with a reliable form of transportation.
  • Current ServSafe certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work between 45 & 50 hours per week and most Saturdays.
  • Proven experience as a "working manager" this is not a supervisory role.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This position will be responsible for working inside and outside our retail locations. This environment is fast-paced and will require the individual to be moving on their feet for long periods of time during assigned shifts.
