Inland Empire Senior Area Director

Job Purpose or Summary:

In alignment with the company mission, vision and values, the Senior Area Director is responsible for achieving the revenue and profit goals for their own  office and additional offices within their scope of responsibility. Manage day-to-day operations, increase revenue via localized sales and marketing efforts, build community partnerships, and oversee a team of multidisciplinary professionals of a premier national in-home care provider for older adults and their families. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and implements growth strategies to increase recruitment, retention, and satisfaction of clients and caregivers
  • Serves as a key leader at community activities to enhance the company’s presence, reputation, and further revenue growth
  • Attracts and retains high caliber talent, develops teams with diverse capabilities, facilitates growth and development by providing necessary resources, and coaches/supports staff to achieve office and organization goals
  • Monitors office operations to ensure excellence in all functional areas of staffing, care management, recruiting, and sales
  • Evaluates, implements, and improves efforts for attracting, training, retaining, and treasuring caregivers
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify strengths, weaknesses and trends within the local offices. Utilize insights from the data analysis to aid with strategic decision making and drive improvements 
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to address gaps and maximize opportunities. Ensure effective implementation of plans across local offices, while continuously evaluating outcomes and making adjustments as needed. Effective resource management, ensuring the allocation of resources is aligned to support the organization's strategic objectives while creating and maintaining operations efficiency

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages 3 to 25 subordinate team members.  Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these team members.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant professional experience may fulfill this requirement.
  • A minimum of 4 years management experience with proven ability to build and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to interface effectively and professionally with clients, caregivers, and referral sources (physicians, attorneys, etc.).

Ability to work in a team environment required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 

Valid state of residence driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance required. 

PC literacy required.
