We are looking for an On-call Care Specialist to assist with after hours and weekend support in a regional capacity.

Essential Functions:

• Performs on-call services to ensure availability for concerns after business hours.
• Inputs, confirms, and verifies schedules, ensuring all open shifts are staffed all while ensuring accurate payroll and billing for all shifts.   
• Communicate with clients and/or families when there is a schedule change, and when necessary, communicate with the appropriate office team member 
• Communicate expectations with care professionals by providing an overview of the level of care/activities/duties each client requires.   
• Properly document all conversations and act as frontline for incidents and workers' compensation issues after hours, and understand the process to ensure compliance promptly.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Previous experience in customer service or staffing preferred.  
• Positive attitude with a team player mindset
• Detail-oriented while being able to multitask and stay organized. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as well as being empathetic and a good listener..  
• PC literacy is required.
