Are you a talented cook with experience in fine dining and haute-today cuisine? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? If so, we want to hear from you!
Actively seeking line cook w/ 3+ years in fine dining, higher end, haute-today relevant cuisine. Cross training preferred. Must understand sautéed station and grill stations with strong experience executing high volume high end from scratch cuisine. Technique and skill level with determine final rate of pay.
Williams Island Property Owners Association, Inc. is a private island and club community located in Aventura, Florida. We offer a range of amenities including a pool bar & grill, 2 restaurants, a 27 thousand square foot spa, 16 tennis courts, and a marina. Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen
- Preparing workstations for cooking
- Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Checking the quality of the ingredients
- Preparing cooking ingredients using various techniques
- Cooking food using various culinary techniques
- Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentation
- Managing food storage, stock, and ingredient orders
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cook
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment
- Skilled in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and act quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent
