What is a Sandwich Artist®?
A Sandwich Artist® is the face of the SUBWAY® brand. You’ll be responsible for greeting guests, preparing food, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and keeping the restaurant clean and organized.
Exceptional customer service is the foundation of this role.

Prerequisites
Education: Some high school or equivalent
Experience & Skills: No experience required. Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work all areas of the restaurant as needed
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale (POS) system/cash register
- Standing, bending, and walking for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 30 lbs occasionally
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a cheerful and helpful attitude
- Take orders and provide accurate menu knowledge
- Operate the POS system, collect payments, and make change
- Perform cash-in procedures (accounting for money, bread, etc. during shift)
- Prepare food neatly, accurately, and efficiently according to SUBWAY® standards
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Clean and maintain the restaurant to ensure a professional and welcoming environment
- Follow SUBWAY® quality standards, formulas, and procedures
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
- Complete light paperwork as assigned
- Complete University of SUBWAY® training courses as directed
