Sylvan Learning Center - Academic Operations Manager

Sylvan Learning Center is urgently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Academic Operations Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our 3 locations in Castro Valley, Piedmont, and El Cerrito, with weekly visits to each location.
• Oversee a team of part-time teachers, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of Sylvan's academic programs to our students.
• Collaborate with the Center staff to develop and implement strategies for student success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Previous experience with students, teaching/education, parents, and/or educational sales preferred.
• Prior management experience a plus.
• High energy, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Availability in the later afternoons/evenings and the ability to travel to each location weekly.
