Event Venue Chef/Cook

Rate of pay$15 - 25 per hour

Event Venue Chef/Cook Job Description: We are looking for a venue chef for our sporting clays event facility. A qualified candidate must be comfortable working in an outdoor kitchen setting serving a range of clients from small groups to up to 150 guests. A minimum of 2 years kitchen or catering experience is required along with weekend availability.

 

 

Responsibilities of an Event Venue Chef/Cook: 

● Menu plan for multiple events.

● Organize the food and equipment needed for events; including assisting with food inventory management and truck orders.

● Ensure all food items and other items are handled, stored, and rotated correctly.

● Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment in line with all safe food handling practices.

● Quickly and efficiently prepare, cook, and present salads, entrees, and desserts for buffet style meals.

● Clean kitchen and dishes as needed.

 

 

Event Venue Chef/Cook Job Requirements: 

● High school degree or equivalent preferred.

● Minimum of 2 years kitchen or catering experience

● Availability to work weekends is required.

● Strong organizational and planning skills

● Excellent guest and hospitality skills.

● Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 35lbs.

● Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

● Positive and friendly attitude
