At Chick-fil-A, Team Leaders play a crucial role in assisting the Director team with shift management and ensuring that each guest has an outstanding experience. They supervise assigned stations throughout their shift and are responsible for opening or closing the restaurant.


Responsibilities include:

  • Setting an example of servant leadership.

  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the dining room, restroom, parking lot, kitchen, and overall facility.
  • Performing any of the above tasks as needed throughout the shift.
  • Addressing guest issues and consulting with Directors on complex matters.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships and treating all employees with respect, while providing direction and feedback.
  • Communicating employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous leadership experience, specifically as a shift leader at Chick-fil-A or other quick-service restaurants, is required.
  • Availability to either open or close the restaurant.
  • Team-oriented, friendly, and honest.
  • Possesses great customer skills, a teachable spirit, and a readiness to grow and help others succeed.
