Strawberry Lemonade Mixologist

Rate of pay$16 per hour

TIME FRAME: ALL JAZZ FESTIVAL EVENT DAYS

April 25-28 and May 2-5, 2024


POSITION SUMMARY: The Mixologist is responsible for preparing batches of Strawberry Lemonade at their designated Strawberry Lemonade Booth.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with the daily setup of the Strawberry Lemonade (SBL) booth.
  • Conduct and record beginning inventory for Syrup and Puree products.
  • Combine dry and wet ingredients.
  • Adjust batch sizes based on daily attendance and sales.
  • Monitor production to minimize product waste.
  • Maintain records of inventory withdrawals from the refrigerator or trailer.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the booth.
  • Assist with restocking ice as needed.
  • Conduct and record inventory of unused product.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment in all weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of frequent heavy lifting and possess upper body/arm strength.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • It is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the Festival Finance Office.
  • Must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
  • Any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival belongs to the Jazz Festival and must be given to the Festival through your supervisor or departmental head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
  • Must complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
