Position Summary
The Chick-fil-A Maumee Business Internship provides college students with hands-on business experience in one of the nation's leading restaurant organizations. Areas of Focus
Depending on the student's major and career goals, internship experiences may include:
- Marketing: Community engagement, social media initiatives, promotional campaigns, customer experience, and brand awareness.
- Supply Chain & Operations: Inventory management, forecasting, ordering systems, food cost analysis, and operational efficiency.
- Human Resources: Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee engagement, training, retention, and leadership development.
- Entrepreneurship: Learning how a locally operated Chick-fil-A restaurant functions as a business while developing entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
- Management: Team leadership, operations management, performance metrics, coaching, scheduling, and strategic planning.
- Finance: Budgeting, profit-and-loss analysis, labor management, financial reporting, and key performance indicators.
- Sales & Customer Experience: Guest service excellence, relationship building, sales growth strategies, catering initiatives, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Participate in department-specific projects aligned with academic objectives.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
- Work alongside restaurant leaders and team members.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
