Catering & Treat Truck Growth

Join our team at Chick-fil-A of Stanleyville and King as an Outside Sales Representative focused on driving catering revenue and expanding our treat truck business in the community.

This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role designed to grow sales, build partnerships, and increase brand presence throughout the market. The position includes some operational support time inside the restaurant and on the treat truck to ensure excellence in execution.

Position Summary

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new catering business, securing treat truck bookings, developing community partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role will actively prospect, build relationships, close sales, and coordinate with operations to ensure flawless delivery and guest experience.

This position requires strong sales instincts, community engagement, and occasional hands-on operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)

Catering Sales Growth

  • Identify and pursue new catering opportunities (corporate offices, schools, churches, hospitals, community organizations, events)
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers
  • Conduct in-person visits, sampling drops, and presentations
  • Follow up on inbound catering leads
  • Develop recurring catering partnerships
  • Track leads and sales activity

Treat Truck Sales & Bookings

  • Prospect and secure treat truck bookings (corporate events, festivals, sports tournaments, private events)
  • Build partnerships with event planners and community organizers
  • Coordinate scheduling and booking
  • Ensure profitable event selection

Operational Support (Secondary Responsibility)

  • Assist inside the restaurant during peak periods as needed
  • Support treat truck execution during events
  • Ensure catering orders are accurate and timely, and assist in assembling catering orders, if needed
  • Collaborate with Operations Director and Kitchen Leadership for seamless delivery

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organized and comfortable tracking metrics and goals
  • Flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends required for events)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Able to work at both our Stanleyville and King locations

Performance Metrics

  • Monthly catering revenue growth
  • Food truck booking frequency and profitability
  • Client retention and recurring business
