Bomberger's Store, your local hardware store, is looking for a Cafe Team Member to join our team. As part of the Bomberger's team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment where community and personal connection are valued.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Waits on customers at counter and takes food orders.
- Uses computerized cash register to process transactions; accepts payment and makes change.
- Prepares food and drink orders.
- Notifies manager of shortages or special orders.
- Packages “to go” orders and serves food to be eaten on site.
- Makes and serves hot beverages.
- Maintains food preparation area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Follows all food safety rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Cafe cleaning when not busy serving customers and preparing food orders
Job Requirements:
- 5 hour shifts, weekdays, dayshift, approximately 12-15 hours weekly.
- Short order cooking and or barista experience is helpful
- The ability to transition well between work pace and job duties
- Ability to pass Serve Safe certification and maintain state food safety requirements
