Summary:
Sells paint, accessories, and a variety of home improvement and decorating merchandise by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides service to customers in the department. Actively listens and asks questions to evaluate customer’s needs and finds the product or solutions to meet those needs.
- Mixes paint using a computerized system.
- Keeps department organized, clean and appealing to customers.
- Performs inventory of products assigned by the manager.
- Stocks shelves with incoming merchandise in a timely manner.
- Works with other associates to ensure coverage in all areas of the division.
- Maintains full knowledge of the layout of the department and can easily locate product. Maintains a working knowledge of the entire Hardware Division.
- Assists in other areas of the Division as needed or requested.
Job Requirements
- Ability to work a part time schedule that includes evenings and a Saturday rotation.
