Bar Symon Managers must be professional with a focus on genuine hospitality. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills with a developed eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all restaurant employees to meet standards and expectations set by United Concessions Group
- Hands on assistance of both dining room service staff, bartender staff, and kitchen staff
- Staying attentive to all guest’s needs at all times
- Engagement with restaurant guests in an effort to build relationships to increase repeat business
- Oversee and ensure the completion of all side work, before, during, and after the shifts
- Demonstrating correct financial reporting and cash handling
- Assess employee development needs and train/ coach staff
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all beverage and food items are meeting Bar Symon set standards
- Adherence to stock control and prep sheet procedures
- Must build professional relationships with suppliers and sale representatives
- Stay current with all state of Ohio liquor laws
- Maintain regular communication with management through weekly meetings and discussions
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and developed personnel management skills
- Management experience in fast casual or quick service restaurants
- Customer service-oriented commitment to 100% guest satisfaction
- Comfortable coaching & giving feedback to staff
- Self-motivated with a high energy level
- Problem solver with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Coming to work on time, and with a positive attitude every shift
- Following all policies and procedures as listed in the United Concessions Group and Bar Symon Employee Manuals.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- High school diploma and food safety training will be considered a plus
- Can bend and lift up to 50 lbs. during shift
- Can stand/walk continually for up to/ and exceeding 8 hours
