Cashier at Petit Gourmet
Location Description: Petit Gourmet is your quick one-stop shop at any time during the day, with a vast selection of grab-and-go options. Enjoy a local cup of coffee from Dilworth Coffee with a scone in the morning. We partner with a local bakery and have many fresh pastry options. For lunch and dinner, pick up a sandwich, wrap, or salad. For the moments in between, try our hot and cold grabs or a signature cocktail. We also have a full bar and a full dining room for anyone with time to sit down and indulge in some of our many hand crafted made to order menu items.
United Concessions Group (UCG) is now hiring Cashiers to join their Team at Petit Gourmet located inside of the Cleveland Hopkins Airport!
Responsibilities:
- Taking guests orders and completing transactions
- Acting as a salesperson (suggestive selling)
- Collecting payments (cash, card, etc.), and issuing receipts
- Maintaining a clean front counter/checkout area
- Follow uniform/appearance guidelines
- Calling out orders and handing guests their food
- Following all bagging guidelines
- Bartending responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, liquor, and cocktails.
Job Requirements
- Stands for long periods
- Routinely lifts, carries, and moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Meet the minimum age requirements for serving/pouring alcohol
- Bends, reaches, and moves quickly in tight spaces
- Is legally able to work in the U.S.
- Is able to pass a federal background check
- Executes tasks independently
- Learns and memorizes tasks effectively
- Maintains concentration and focus on tasks
- Performs tasks in small or restrictive spaces
- Works in or around large crowds
