Position Summary: We are seeking an ambitious and driven Event Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building lasting client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of events. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, crafting customized event proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional events.

 

Key Responsibilities:


1. Event Sales and Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Touring the facility to prospects ensuring they understand our mission and vision 
  • Providing streamlined follow up processes to prospects 

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process
  • Understand client objectives and requirements to provide tailored event solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

3. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management and ownership teams
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and vendors to maximize revenue and minimize costs.

4. Marketing and Promotion:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Utilize digital marketing and social media platforms to enhance visibility and attract new clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
