The Shift Lead is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience by providing safe food, quickly and accurately in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading shift from position, completing after shift reports, moving team members within designated area when needed to support operations and avoid bottlenecks; actively participating and on pace with leadership development and mentorship programs, ensuring quality and procedural standards are being met, ensures scheduled training is completed in area of responsibility,completing ratings every shift on Team members in the area.
Tasks: (not all inclusive)
- Provide great customer service
- Maintain the Core 4
- Keep a clean and safe work environment
- Be good stewards with costs (food, paper, utilities)
- Take care of and maintain equipment
- Maintain CFA standards for service, cleanliness, and procedures
- Report broken/ missing equipment
- Handle minor guest issues
- Help control flow of food and guests
- Make sure that team members are productive
- Make sure team members are good stewards with food, equipment, goods, and time.
- Make sure CFA standards are being met and procedures being used
- Can switch team members from spots they are struggling in but MUST provide clear constructive feedbackafterward so that they learn and grow.
- Maintain team member productivity (stocking and checklists)
