Heart of House Team Member Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
- Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
- Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
- Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be willing to receive coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
- Must communicate effectively and respectfully with leaders and fellow team members.

- Must be able to safely use kitchen equipment after appropriate training.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move items commonly used in kitchen operations.
- Must follow all company policies and procedures, including Food Safety 5 and workplace expectations.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Must be willing to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
