The Team Lead is a high-level leadership position responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant operations, driving strategic growth, and ensuring that the restaurant’s mission aligns with Chick-fil-A’s core values and standards. They’re the face of Chick-fil-A, embodying the mission statement of Winning Hearts Everyday. This role involves managing a team, optimizing business performance, and fostering a positive, productive workplace culture. This role ensures that Chick-fil-A’s high standards for quality, efficiency, and service are met. A Team Lead is one who consistently demonstrates our core values (Integrity, Grit and Servant's Heart) and embraces the Chick-fil-A culture. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. A Team Lead’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Count drawers and finalize day
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience as a General Manager or District Manager
