About the Role
Back of House Team Leaders are a critical part of Chick-fil-A Cypress Ranch’s leadership structure and serve as the driving force behind kitchen operations. In this role, you will lead the BOH team to deliver safe, high-quality food with speed, accuracy, and consistency—while upholding Chick-fil-A’s industry-leading standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role for individuals who are passionate about food safety, operational excellence, and developing others in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Schedule
- Full-Time
- 40+ hours per week
- Must be available to open and/or close
- Shifts range from 5:30 AM – 11:30 PM

Requirements
(Applications that do not meet the experience requirement will not be considered)
- Prior Chick-fil-A experience required, including a minimum of one (1) year of Chick-fil-A shift-leading experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Experience operating commercial kitchen and service equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Comfortable using kitchen technology, including POS and KDS systems
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize without constant supervision
- Dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Willingness to work in hot and cold environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee kitchen operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure food is prepared, held, and served to Chick-fil-A quality and safety standards
- Uphold and enforce food safety and sanitation procedures
- Coach, train, and develop team members on BOH processes and performance
- Monitor food production, waste control, and efficiency
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness
- Collaborate with Front of House leadership to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with inventory management and daily prep planning
- Execute opening/closing kitchen procedures
- Step into any BOH position as needed during peak times
- Provide real-time feedback to drive improvement and accountability
- Promote a culture of care, respect, and excellence
