Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response and solutions to our Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Planning ahead for your shifts and employee setups.
- Ensures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
- Ensures that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all menu items.
- Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain the restaurants speed of service guidelines.
- Ensures that workstations are kept clean at all times.
- Executes proper security, cash handling and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
- Ensures that Team Members monitor the dining room, restrooms, parking lot and overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Addresses guest concerns in a professional manner, consults with a Director regarding complex issues.
- Maintains positive working relationships, treating all with honor, dignity and respect.
- Communicates employee performance, policy and procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
