Marketing Director

Position Summary

The Marketing Director is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening brand presence by increasing customer visits, expanding engagement with the Chick-fil-A One App, growing catering revenue, and leading meaningful community involvement. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure the Restaurant is highly visible, deeply connected, and consistently growing. This role is in-person at the Restaurant with some community interaction, and this role will also largely serve as an operational team member, in addition to marketing responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Growth & Traffic Generation

  • Develop & execute a local marketing strategy to increase transactions and overall sales
  • Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and daypart performance to identify growth opportunities
  • Plan and execute promotions, limited-time offers, and in-store marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure marketing aligns with capacity

2. Chick-fil-A One App Growth

  • Drive adoption, downloads, and active usage of the Chick-fil-A One App
  • Execute campaigns that promote mobile ordering, rewards, and loyalty engagement
  • Train and equip team members to consistently promote the app in Guest interactions
  • Monitor app performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly

3. Catering Sales Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations
  • Develop and execute a proactive catering sales strategy
  • Identify new catering opportunities and create repeat business systems
  • Track catering performance and set measurable growth goals

4. Community Engagement & Brand Presence

  • Establish the business as a community leader through events, partnerships, and service
  • Represent the brand in a professional and relationship-driven manner
  • Ensure all community involvement aligns with Chick-fil-A brand values


5. Brand Stewardship

  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with Chick-fil-A brand standards
  • Oversee in-store marketing materials, digital presence, and messaging
  • Maintain a high standard of visual and experiential excellence

6. Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Develop and manage a content calendar for social media platforms
  • Create engaging, on-brand content that drives awareness and traffic
  • Respond to customer engagement and build online relationships
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategy

7. Leadership & Influence

  • Lead, train, and develop team members involved in marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership team to support overall business goals
  • Take ownership of marketing results and continuously improve performance
