Welcome to jaja (jajacleveland.com) - Operated by Harbor Bay Hospitality, jaja is located in INTRO – Jaja is a celebration of Western Mediterranean ("Med-West") cuisine, brought to life through the leadership of Executive Chef Logan Abbe. A Cleveland native and Cleveland Magazine’s2022 Best Local Chef, Abbe draws on his experience at The Last Page, Sawyer’s, and The Greenhouse Tavern to reintroduce jaja with a menu rooted in inventive, shareable dishes. Set within its jewel-box rooftop dining room, jaja offers an energetic, transportive, and welcoming experience paired with a reimagined beverage program — marking an exciting new chapter for one of Cleveland’s most distinctive restaurants.
The Bartender is responsible for the smooth operation of bartending and beverage service. The bartender is a highly visible role and is key to the success of our venue's operations. This role serves as an ambassador to our guests and helps to ensure the ambiance of the event is maintained and guest expectations are met. and exceed. All while embodying our core values.

Essential Functions

- Deliver perfect beverages according to Jaja specifications
- Own the cleaning and organization of the bar, beer cooler, and beverage storage areas
Education / Experience / Certifications:
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a bar service role.
- Knowledge of various food-service styles a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintains composure under pressure, remains calm and courteous in difficult situations.
- Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as business demands; ability to work flexible hours as required.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a restaurant/event environment. This role requires primarily standing and walking during entire shift. Work environment is fast-paced and team member must be able to manage multiple priorities throughout a shift.
