As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food products to our guests. You will be responsible for handling, preparing, and cooking food, assembling orders, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all food safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, assemble and package orders according to company quality standards while maintaining food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, ovens, warmers, and high-heat dishwashers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Ensure dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to achieve store goals including speed of service, order accuracy, and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow recipes and instructions, and enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen, including standing for shifts ranging from 3 to 8 hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort with working in hot and cold environments, both inside the kitchen and in storage areas.
- Ability to handle knives, sharp objects, and operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Prior experience is not required; however, a Washington Food Handlers Card, ServSafe Certification, or previous kitchen/food handling experience is preferred.
