Position: Front of House Manager

Job Description:
As a Front of House Manager at Chick-fil-A, you will embody our core values and Chick-fil-A culture, demonstrating a servant's heart and a passion for serving others. You will play a crucial role in supporting senior leadership with daily operations and ensuring that team members adhere to our standards of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and effectively while also coaching and developing team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Participate actively in daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Ensure that the restaurant runs efficiently by managing front-of-house activities and overseeing team performance.
- Guest Service: Provide immediate and respectful responses to guests' needs, maintaining a high level of customer service throughout your shift.
- Team Leadership: Assist in training new hires, set the tone for each shift, and serve as a role model for the team. Lead by example to inspire and guide team members.
- Shift Management: Open and/or close the restaurant, lead shifts, and act as a key holder. Count drawers and finalize the day's transactions.
- Communication: Maintain excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to ensure clear and effective interaction with guests and team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Positive Attitude: Consistently smile, create and maintain eye contact, and speak enthusiastically.
- Guest Relations: Make emotional connections with guests to enhance their experience.
- Reliability: Possess reliable transportation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- People Skills: Demonstrate strong people skills and a desire to serve team members while managing behavioral and performance issues effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work well in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Front of House Manager, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or assistant manager is preferred but not required.
