Job Title: Kitchen Utility Team Member
Location: Chick-fil-A Viewmont
Schedule: Early Morning Availability Required (Starting at 5:45 AM)
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Pay Range: $11-$15
Job Summary:
Chick-fil-A Viewmont is looking for a dependable and self-motivated Kitchen Utility Team Member to support our back-of-house operations. This role is essential to the daily success of our restaurant and includes early morning truck deliveries, dishwashing, and routine facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
Truck Unloading & Stocking (Starting at 5:45 AM):
- Unload and organize food deliveries quickly and accurately
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dry storage, walk-ins, and coolers
Dishwashing:
- Operate the dishwashing station and clean dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen tools throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dish area at all times
Daily Maintenance:
- Assist with daily cleaning and upkeep of kitchen equipment and facilities
- Take out trash and recycling, restock cleaning supplies
- Support general kitchen tasks as needed
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
Team Support:
- Work alongside kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Qualifications:
- Must be able to consistently arrive at 5:45 AM for morning truck deliveries
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience in food service, dishwashing, or maintenance is a plus but not required
